Something that Nokia users have been waiting for a long time

are Skype Video Calls. To be able to use the front camera on S60 devices to have a video call with someone using a PC, MAC or another S60 device. Today, this is actually possible!

Fring just released version 4.0 of their amazing native Skype client for Nokia devices. Currently, it is only available for: Nokia 5800, Nokia X6, Nokia N97 and N97 Mini, and non touch devices: N82, N95 and N95 8GB. This time, 4.0 supports Skype Video calls. This means you can video call someone just like you would on a PC! I already tried it and works very well. I am totally amazed by this new feature from Fring, is totally amazing to see this on a mobile phone.

Lets also remember that S60 devices are the first mobile devices to get this feature, and even though there is a Fring app for the iPhone, it does not have a second front camera.
